ABOUT cher

Own discomfort so it doesn’t own you!

As a mental health therapist, author, speaker and coach, Cher intimately understands the detrimental impact discomfort can have on our well-being when we lack the necessary skills and mindset. She has observed how people often resist change or avoid discomfort, even when it's necessary for growth and well-being. Many individuals find comfort in the familiar and fear the unknown, leading them to cling to routines and habits that no longer serve them. Societal pressures and expectations can create a fear of failure or judgment, discouraging individuals from stepping outside their comfort zones.

Cher's mission is to empower individuals to overcome these barriers and embrace change with confidence. Through her work, she helps people recognize that discomfort is a natural part of growth and that avoiding it only prolongs suffering. By equipping them with practical tools and strategies, Cher enables individuals to navigate discomfort with skill and resilience.

Drawing from her book "Could It Be Better?", Cher provides additional insights into overcoming resistance to change and embracing discomfort as a catalyst for personal growth. She shares stories and strategies for confronting fears, challenging limiting beliefs and cultivating a mindset of resilience and adaptability.

Through her engaging speaking events, insightful book, personalized coaching, and interactive workshops, Cher addresses the root causes of resistance to change and guides people in developing the social-emotional intelligence necessary to embrace discomfort. She emphasizes the importance of cultivating self-awareness, building resilience, and fostering a growth mindset.

Together with Cher, individuals learn to transform discomfort into their greatest superpower, unlocking their potential for joy, connection and success.

Cher's humorous, disarming, and accessible approach creates a safe space for audiences to explore how discomfort isn’t  actually the bad guy we make it out to be, ultimately empowering them to embrace challenges with calm and confidence.
